Niniola Apata is a famous Nigerian singer, songwriter
born on 15th December 1986, professionally known as
Niniola, her style of songs is mostly afrobeat,
R&B and Dancehall as she dances in all
her music videos.
She took part in the 6th season of project fame west Africa in 2013, she was nominated for the most promising act to watch at the 2015 Nigerian entertainment awards just after the moment she released the hit track Ibadi.
Early Life
Niniola was born in the family of late Rt. Brigadier General Simeon Olaosebikan Apata and Mrs. Magrat Apata in Lagos Nigerian, she is an elder sister to the popular singer Teni, she grew up in a polygamous family she being the sixth child of the family of ten with three mothers and a father who died in 1995.
Education
Niniola attended Apata memorial high school for both her primary and secondary school after she earned her certificate she immediately got admission into university of Lagos.
Career
Niniola rose to fame after she peaked on the sixth season of project fame west Africa where she got the opportunity to perform live with kcee on the song Limpopo, growing up she was influenced musically by Celine dion, Madonna, and Beyonce etc.
She released her fit hit single titled “Ibadi, on 19 March 2014 produced by the big star Sarz, she went ahead dropped another song Gbowode, this two tracks was use as a soundtrack for the Gidi up season 2.
Maradona was a big track that she released in 2019 which spent 13 weeks in South Africa Metro FM charts, in 2021 maradona was certified gold in South Africa by the recording industry of South Africa RISA.
