Ramsey came from a family of Israelis Jewish father and a Yoruba mother born in Lagos Nigerian on 19 December 1970, he is the origin of Owo from Ondo state.

Ramsey acting career started very as a result of lack of financial problem to proceed his general certificate education (gce) and he peaked in Nigerian tv soap opera fortunes wearing the character Jeff akin-Thomas after the his series he began to appeared in numerous of Nollywood movies but well and better in romantic movies as a lover boy, he was recorded as one of the Nigerian actor to look up to.
