Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon is a Nigerian famous singer, songwriter and an entertainer, he is well with his unique style of song dancehall, hip hop and afrobeats, born on 15 August 1980 is the owner of DM ( dem mama) record label, Timaya hails from Bayelsa state in ido in south south of Nigerian but he was born and rise in port Harcourt in ship estate river state he boast into the Nigerian music scene with the hit dem mama which appeared as the lead single in the album true story.
Early Life
Timaya came from a very large family the youngest of fifteen children his father and as a banker with his mother an entrepreneur the family reside in agip port Harcourt.
Education
He attended Assemblies of God primary school later proceeded to Nkpolu oroworukwo in port Harcourt for his secondary school.
Personal Life
Timaya is a father of four children with four different baby mama emmanuela, gracey, Emmanula and maya, Barbara fumnaya nwaokolo is the mothers of his two first daughters emmanuela and gracey while emmanuela was given birth by Tamar and maya by dunnie onasanya.
Career
Timaya started music immediately after his secondary school as a backup vocalist but he came into the limelight in the year 2005 the hit track dem mama later he released an album true story the song dem mama happened to be the lead single the album was a banger and subject all over Nigerian in 2005 after many streams he released his second album titled gift and grace in 2008 contain many tracks and from the point he is already gained his recognition into the afrobeats industry, within 2008 to 2010 the album De rebirth and more successful in his music careers day coincide with black body entertainment the label aid him for the distribution of the album.
Timaya releases several album in 2014 he come up with another massive album Epiphany containing 20 tracks he work with many great artists such as 2baba, Patoranking, Olamide, Phyno, Burna boy. In 2017 Timaya departed from black body entertainment and lunched his record label dm (dem mama) in the label is he welcomed Patoranking, runtown and signed artist like killer tunes and king perry.
