Biography
Mike Ezuruonye is a popular Nigerian actor, director, born on September 21, 1982 in Lagos. He worked as a banker before he opted to becoming an actor. He has featured in several Nollywood movies. He got nominated twice for Best Actor in an assisting Role and Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008, 2009 respectively. and the Nollywood star was nominated for Best Actor in Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Early Life
His parents gave birth to 5 children. Mike is the eldest son of four siblings and has previously described his family background as being solid, decent, and very comfortable. Mike is also the elder brother, Chichi is sister who is a physician in the UK.
Education
He went to the Federal Government College (FGC), Wukari, Taraba and also Archbishop Aggey Memorial school, Lagos before he got admitted into Nnamdi Azikiwe University to study accounting.
Career
Mike worked in bank a long time ago before he decided to pursue is career as a an actor and this was confirmed by him during an interview with Vanguard. Mike was introduced into acting by his very close friend Dayo Amusa who had great connection with top movie stars. The the Initial stage, Mike admitted during the interview that the impression he gave, the energy and vibes were really not helping and decided to put in more zeal and commitments which have really yielded positives.
Broken Marriage which was released dating back to 2003, marked his debut year where he starred in the movie. That became a major uplift for the Nollywood star because he realized that his currents earnings where more encouraging than his earnings as a banker.
Few years later after his debut season, the Nigeria film actor have rose to prominence and he is currently one the house hold names as far as the Nollywood industry is concerned. The Nigeria Film star debuted in the well-known comedy movie titled ” Divorce not Allowed” recently in 2018. He expressed the reason behind the film production, and he stressed further that it’s solely due to the major challenges couples face. Their inability to endure during adversity, misunderstanding or any marriage related issues as resulted to broken homes. He stressed further that such marital issues among young couples and their resolution as their they’re so many broken homes and that due to lack of proper understanding before embarking on such an endless journey.
It’s not a new thing when Nollywood star air their interest on politics and Mike Ezuruonye is no exception. However, the Nollywood star is in no rush for that. The Nigeria film star and film maker is over 15 years and counting into his Nollywood acting career, this clearly shows how experienced he has been over the years. Personal Life
The Nigerian film actor tied the not with Nkechi Nnorom dating back to September 2010. He had his white wedding ceremony at Folawiyo Bankole Methodist church in Lagos state. He has a younger sister, Chichi, who is a Physician in the United Kingdom. They knew each other in Abuja 2009 when he shot one of his movies. Mike’s wife Nkechi Nnorom Lived and worked as a Psychologist in Canada. She later returned to Nigeria and from then on they went into a relationship which resulted in them getting married. The couples are currently blessed with two kids, a handsome baby boy whose name is Raynold Nkembuchim who was born on October 2011 and their little princess.
Mike took to his social media to share lots of photos of his son on Instagram but that of his daughter is yet to be seen. Many are of the opinion that the Nollywood star is simply reserved. and also sen as one who doesn’t like to flaunt with his family.
